Default CAI question

i've seen itr with a white looking tube comming throught the front spoiler of their car which is atached to the intake, does this benefit over a convintional cai that goes down to the bottom of the car to collect cold air?

What you're describing sounds like a ram-air set up for drag racing. The "convential" below the fender CAI will trap less dirt on the filter and does not require any cutting of bumpers.

there isnt any cutting of bumpers, its like a flimsy hose that was conected to the intake and put throught the front spoiler
