Default are all vtec solenoids the same?

i thought they are all the same but the y8? anyone know this?

Nope.

D16Z6 solenoid is different than D16Y8 solenoid. B-series solenoids are also different than D-series, in other words, you can't bolt on a B-series solenoid on any D-series....

bolt pattern is the same tough, you can use a d-series sol on b-series, but the vtec press. switch will be pointing to the front; thats all.

b and d series are the same (cept the y8) and will work but the wire will be the prob, sorry but i gotta know cause i just got a BUNCH of vtec solenoids and i wanna sell them but i dont wanna screw no body over

My friend has a D16Z6 solenoid on his ITR, but he didn't mention the wiring being shorter, then again he had to extend that side anyway.

so his is fitting just fine? i got like 4 vtec solenoids that people just leave in my garage and just over time, sold most of them but got four left, i know its not classifieds but if anyone knows someone that needs one, lean them over here.
