How do I get these spots off my car?
I parked under a pine tree for the better part of a year when I first got my car and ever since it has been covered with these spots on the windows. You can't really see it casually but if u look in the shade or direct sunlight they are very obvious. I need to know if there is anything I can use to get these spots off. Pics below:
lots of soap and water and very fine steel wool. Should take it off quite nicely. Don't use on your paint though.. Just the windows. Hope this helps..
Tried Goo Gone & Bug n Tar with stainless steel pad but nothing seems to come off. If I bought a steel wool pad would this make a diff?

I have had great success with Goof-Off.
Don't know if that's what you guys call GOO GONE.
You might try diluted ammonia.
This whole steel wool idea doesn't sit to well with me though. . . .
let us know what works.
I seem to get good results with windex then I use rain x and I never get any spots. That was on a 91 crx. also glass shops can polish your glass if you can not get it off.
White vinager, scrub hard.
Eagles 20/20 glass cleaner.
Then rainX, they will be totally clean and non-suseptible to water spots.
Note: Water spots come from "hard-water". When you wash your car dry windows with %100 cotton cloths right after. Same goes with paint - trust me, I detail cars.

MEK: Methyl Ethyl Keytone that **** will dissolve anything. I know that **** will get it off. JUST DON"T GET IT ON YOUR PAINT! It will dissolve your paint if kept on there long enough. SystemGSR had shoe polish on his window for weeks, that **** would not come off, but a little dab of MEK took that **** right off and took all the oxidtion off his exhaust too, made it look brand new. Oh yeah, don't breath it either. You can get it at hardware stores.
