hello, i wanted to clean my engine this weekend. Any degreasing products out there worth mention? Also, is it safe to just get soap and sponge, wash it down and hose it?

 

Search before you post......but here is a quick answer:

Make sure and cover your intake filter, dizzy, and spark plugs with something.

Next buy some simple green and add a lot of time and patience...the result a clean engine bay. Just don't go hosing down the whole damn engine, be smart as to what you clean. And make sure the engine is cold.

A spray and wipe with some WD-40 makes it look damn good as well, makes everything shiny...
