Post the best times STOCK that you have witnessed for the following cars. Also, any freeway race experiences.The cars are the ITR, RSX Type-S, Celica GT-S, and GSR. Rank in the following ways: 1/4mi acceleration, 20mph roll, top speed run (70-130mph).

This is an interesting post...What would be great is if someone can organize something with other webboards (WRX, Celica GT-S, Integra GSR, RSX, etc.) and have a stock 1/4 mile challenge. I know that the other owners are killing for results just like we are.
Is this something someone would want to organize? If someone wants to do it on the east coast I can try and help (But, I am more into autocrossing, so I can only help so much).

I think he may still have the timeslip ... I'll ask him to post. If I remember, his mods were:

aem cam gears
rsr 4-2-1 header (or maybe JDM 4-1 I dont remember when he changed it)
exhaust
no p/s belt; only a/c belt
Unorthodx crank pulley
magnecore ign wires
jacobs coil
---dyno tune session with me tuning

I have a friend that owns a shop. One of his best friends has a I think it is a 94 model GSR well anyways he autocrosses it alot and he ran a 14.1 or so at the track with a bone stock engine all he had was a exhaust and that is about it. He swears he has got all the timeslips to prove it. He was undefeated in his class. The shop is called J Speed unless they are lying to me that is the fastest stock Teg that I know of.
Don't think it really matters so much. I think the R is the fastest so far, but who cares. There'll always be someone faster. Also, I don't see how a stock R with slicks can reach 98mph in the 1/4. Doesn't make too much sense... Maybe he's got a REALLY strong one from the factory. I've never seen that. I've seen 14.1 on slicks but at 95-96 mph, stock of course.

I know Lip is a good driver, but that number sounds to be a little fast.

I would love to have a video of that. That would shut alot of people I know that just dog the R right up. Ive seen a 14.3 run bone stock before. Factory freaks exist in all makes and models. I know a guy that can pull a 13.9 bone stock with a Pontiac GTP. Those cars run mid to high 14's normally ofthe showroom floor.

Weather, elevation, humidity and track condition all play a *major* role in a 1/4 time. One car can run a 14.3 on one night, then a 14.8 the next.
Therefore, car x in canada near the ocean can't be compared to car y that ran a slower time in Iowa.

does anyone here understand the definition of stock??? not stock but I had an intake, or stock but w/ an exhaust....

94gsr with itr intake cam, aem intake, unorthodox underdrive pulley, cam gears, fields vtec controller, fuel pressure riser, rs*r header, tanabe g medallion exhaust, back seats removed(but i do have a power sunroof, cruise control, sound deadening(think this is what greg is referring to), 14x6x20 slicks on hx rims... I was running 13.8 @ 100mph.
94gsr with 98itr drivetrain with same mods as above but with jdm 4-1 header and 14x8x20 slicks on bogarts.... car was running 13.6@101mph.
94gsr with 98itr drivetrain with toda spec B's(retainers springs) and same mods as above with 13x8x22 m&h slicks on bogarts....i ran 13.1@103.10mph. as far as top speed with this one....look at your itr gauge cluster. i had the needle between the "n" and "l" of only in unleaded only and it was still climbing. not sure how fast i was really going before i backed off...but it was pretty darn fast.

It was ATCO, one of the last races of the season, you went headsup with a rotary, each run in the semi finals you ran faster and faster, you got it down to 13.19 @ like 101mph or so ... the following year you pulled off the head to put spec Bs, mille head, arp hed studs, valvetrain,e tc.
you were running my ecu, the rsr header, a few months before that we had just finished swappign in the ITR setup. Leo was there with us .... it was 13.19 cause it was cold and the 14" slicks were grabbing you got 60' down to around 1.6 I was your pitman and so was Leo.
