Default blue book value

1991 crx hf

got into an accident heres my question

which value does the adjuster go by when estimating damage to the car to determine wheather or not it will be totaled:

do i use:

1.TRADE-IN
The value you may expect to be offered by a dealer when trading in your own used vehicle.

2.PRIVATE PARTY
The value you may expect to find when purchasing a used car from another consumer.

3.USED CAR RETAIL
The asking price you may expect to find when shopping for a used vehicle from a dealer.

4.PRIVATE PARTY
The value you may expect to receive when selling your car to another consumer.

also when you factor in the condition of the car for the final value, do you use the condition before or after the accident.

If NJ is the same as NY when it comes to appraising the car for a total loss. The company will use NADA retail, Galves, and KBB. Then they will take a average of the three books.
