Weird rubbing on my DA's suspension... HELP
I've heard this metallic scraping noise from the front driver's side suspension when the suspension compresses and rebounds. I did some exploration tonight and took these pictures... do any of you suspension guru's know what might solve my problem?

from the picture you can see i've got Koni Yellows, eibach sportline springs, and an ingall's poly camber kit. My guess is the bushings are the culprit, since they are now 11 yrs old. But i saw this too and I have no idea how this got mangled:

lol...
Hmmm... never seen that before. Are you sure that the camber
kit is designed for your car? Maybe the uper arm is bigger than
it's supposed to be. Dunno... you got me.
I guess if you've had them on your car for 11 years, i'm sure
you would have seen this a long time ago. Maybe your right and
the bushings are toast.

oh yeah thanks for that diagram, I know what you're talkin about and that piece got thrown away when we put on my camber kit (i didn't think it would work with my ingalls camber kit). Do you or anyone else retain that part with using the ingall's kit?
Looks to me like its the wrong camber kit. The marks on the wheel well is because of the A arm not because of the tire size. What brand camber kit is that? If its something something "specialty products" Than they're junk. A friend of mine got it to work but he had to cut out the part of the wheel well that is scrappin on yours.
Solution to problem---->New camber kit. try to buy one with the hole A arm assembly.

can't really go wrong with Ingalls - been on the car now for nearly three years and i've not had this problem until recently. I really don't think it is related to the camber kit.
a friend of mine put a camber kit on his 90 civic,Dude put the kit on in like 10 min no lie! This was because he didnt that piece in so the upper arm could just swing around when the upper bolts are taken off. I just rember him telling me to put that piece in.
HTH oh yeah remember this, the stongest shape is a triange, so when u remove that piece you are weakening the equation, thus causing it to flex
