Default new part for the STi

K&N came by today and borrowed my car again, but this time they left the kit on.. i havent gotten to feel it yet because there was so much traffic on the way home from work.. the dyno tests did give me gains of up to 20hp though, so im sure i will feel a difference.. only difference ive noticed so far with the traffic driving was that i can hear my turbo and bov now..

dyno's (from my other post)
2nd gear

3rd gear

4th gear

and a nice day shot.

I don't know if all this sti modding is bullshit or if they actually respond that well... lets take a look.....Intake - 20 whp, turbo back exhaust - (someone claiming) 30 whp, and if cobb or whatever they are come out with their ecu reflash for the sti then there is another 30 at the wheels. so let see, ecu reflash, intake and exhaust....80 whp at the stock boost level and no other mods. Something doesn't seam right, maybe they are that geat, idk cuz i didn't pick mine up yet

anyone else have a dealer charge you for option package 15Q and also R4A and KYE? cuz the last time i checked the 15Q is both of the R4A & KYE in one package. So why they trying to charge twice for it?

just because you get that ammount of power from one mod doesnt mean that all those mods together equals those numbers + eachother.. it all comes down to how the mods work together.

i see, i understand that but you'd think an intake will compliment an exhaust, just trying to gte the subaru understanding. But i guess we will find out when you put exhaust on right?
