i guess iam really just asking for opinions on which is a the nicest sounding 3" exhaust for turbo?? iam doing 3" piping from Dp back... no cat no resinators to a muffler...... every one telling me to go with the N1 but i wanna know your guys input on which sounds the nicest??????????

they are all loud w/out cat, resonator, and silencer for a street car. for track, get any 3" exhaust.

I have the greddy power extreme 2. Its only available in japan, there is like one shop in the US that can get them.. I love mine, it sounds nice and deep, not to loud..

 

i had a borla muffler with a straight 3" pipe from the stock manifold on my 99 si and it wasnt that loud. so im assuming with my turbo setup on there it will be quieter than before.

I should still be able to get them from my distributor..price I will haft to check..they are spendy..

 

what kinda car u have,a gsr or gsr swapped hatch ??? i**have a 95 eg and i was wondering if the axles back part of the cat back goes up and over the rear axel or under ?? and this is a 3" cat back ?

ahh that may make a diffrence. I have a gsr.. I can see if they make the for a hatch..

 

i kinda wanna stick to custom anyways cuz i have that prob with like all catbacks for the eg hatch... they all go under rear axle and its too low and scrapes...... i wanna know what mufflers will sound good with the 3" straight piping...... i dont want a big ol fart cannon either..

i thought that 3" greddy exhaust was only made for 4dr gsr's?

 

Aren't the Greddy exhausts 70mm? That would be closer to 2.75" than 3".

 

I'm having the same problem finding a 3" muffler thats going to sound good. Although that muffler from japan is probably great, I'm looking for something a little easier to get my hands on. I'm running a Magnaflow on my NA right now and once its warmed up, it sounds great.

 

as far as a cat back to run on turbo...... every one says thenew greddy sp2 is awsome... and as far as custom goes, everyone saying go with 3" piping,no cat no resinators to the N1 muffler!!! every 1 swears by that set up but does any one have it that can tell mehow it is ??

get a thermal r&d 3" oval univ. muffler to go with ur custom piping...
its just right...not too loud...but some ppl say it gets a li'l louder over time...
but its working fine for me...(i have a 2.5")
the best part is the sleeper look

 

is ur exhaust on a turbo application or n/a?

 

get a greddy. i know they have them in2.75, which isnt a big deal. i think more back pressure gives u better boost, or from what i heard. dont belive me, check it out b4. BUT a greddy exhaust is pretty nice. and u know greddy, almost all there **** is quite.
