Well i received some unfortunant news from sgt today...............my car has been broken into. They stole a vafc, hondata s200b, 99-00 si ecu, 720 injectors, resister box, kteller 3" piping/test pipe, and prolly some other stuff. Overall i say i am lucky though because from my understanding the car is not in running order yet, so they couldn't just steal the car. If anybody notices a dealer selling these particular parts in NOVA area be skeptical. I hate to be one of the "statistics," but overall I would say i am lucky. Sorry for rambling, but i needed to vent some steam.

You had all of that installed in your car?

 

They had not been installed yet and were on the backseat

The ecu was just random i really had no use for it

 

Yeah.. that definately sucks...

 

It most definantly does, but mainly all it does is delay when my car will be done.

Wow, sorry dude. I wouldn't say you're lucky though. Those parts are pretty expensive. If they had taken your car, at least you could have gotten insurance money for it. Now you're pretty much outta luck.

Yea, but the parts on my car are not yet insured, so i would have been out well over 12k if they had takin the car.

take it out from your home owners insurace, since it was stolen inside your car ... i hope you told the cops what was stolen so u can claim it under your home insurance

 

i haven't really had much to do with it, I have let sakai take care of it. He called me tongiht and i assume he is gunna take care of it since it was at his shop.

 

i feel for u..my car got stolen a couple months ago, and it really sux big time...

Interesting perspective

 

Who is SGT? If they're a shop I've heard of shops taking customers parts and reporting it as stolen. Not that they did that. Sorry to hear though. Sucks big time.

 

SGT is an extremely reputable builder, he is a moderator of 3 forums on this site. He also happens to be located in just about the highest car theft rate area in the US.

 

Oh dang. Did not know that. I meant no disrespect by my previous post. Thieves suck so bad. I hope my buddies finish with their bikes so I can park in the garage again.

 

damn bro.... NEVER EVER leave anything in the backseat, put it in the house or a storage room. also, i would question your friends, cause im sure they were the ones that knew it was there.

 

i live two hours from sgt, and i would be about 99.9999% sure it wasn't any of my friends.

 

I know the feeling. My friend had his car broken into, took his AFC, Skunk coilovers even his damn gauges! ******* lowlifes!
