the tranny is making hissing sounds..
what does that mean?? any one know?

 

you got the rare b72T 9 way-LSD-rattle snake tranny !!!!

 

is all the time or just during acceleration/ decleration? Could be a missing tooth on the ring gear or pinion gear if it is all the time. Could be low in tranny fluid or have old unused tranny fluid. If it is just situational (the noise) then explain and I will offer more feedback

 

the tranny make noise wen i accelarate n just warm it up...i know i have 2 replace the bearing but i dont think thats the problem

 

its an LS hydro tranny

 

are you using a racing clutch????

does it makes sounds when you step on the clutch???

if hissing goes away during acceleration and comes back while at idle


YOU GOT BAD TRANNY BEARINGS

well at least thats what happened to a tranny we had...

same symptoms.....usually due to aggressive clutches and low quality fluid or just low fluid

Do you have oil in it?
