Default Transmission Swap

I am new to this site, but am very much pleased with what I see.

I need help fast!!!!

I am swapping out my auto transmission on my 95 accord for a manual.
I am wondering if any of you can provide me with some specs on where to drill the holes where the clutch pedals go. I can always guess, but it it better to do it right and have it in the exact spot.

Also, is the control unit different, and if so does anyone know where I can find one for a reasonable price? Ebay doesn't have any right now.

Thanks for all your help!

Whoops, I meant clutch pedal, not plural.
Look real dumb right off the bat, by mistyping!

you don't have to drill a hole, there is a spot designated for it already and a plate covering it...

Are you talking about a Manual Transmission Control unit to replace the Automatic one that is in there, or do I have to replace the main ECU?

As far as I know the ECU controls the ENGINE and the TCM controls the Tranny....replace the TCM and you should be good to go . I am pretty sure the newer accords only have a ECU to do it all.

guess that would explain MANUAL transmission but I am from the land of automatics and thought the older cars 90's had tcm's. But hammer time for me.

there is a way to wire up the auto ECU so that it thinks the car is always in gear.

http://www.extremeredline.net/....html

check out the wiring methods.
