Thinking about a prelude...help?
Hi Guys,
Ive been lookin to get a car for a couple of months. I had a little list of cars Id like to get but the list has been getting smaller and smaller b/c of insurance rates.
Besides the lude ive been considering
TL type S
WRX
RSX type S (but i dont like the looks all that much)
Trans Am (scratch that b/c of insurance)
Anyways my question is this:
Since the car will be discontinued should it be easy to get a good deal on a 2001? If so how much should I be looking at ( i havent gone to a dealership yet).
Also, is that SH lude worth the extra $? I like it more because of the wheels and painted side skirts (then again i plan on getting wheels and a bodykit in the future).
How does the insurance with compare other cars?
I was looking at a Trans Am because of the GM 0.0% financing but the insurance was a hefty $5600/yr.
Well, I hope you guys can gimme some help.

TL type S
- this costs a lot more than a Prelude no?
WRX
-
nice car
RSX type S
-
not bad
Trans Am
-
from personal experience I wouldn't own a GM car ever
You should be able to get a base prelude for around $21k. Don't get the SH if you plan on ditching the rims and side skirts. Only downside to the prelude is trunk room.
Ask your agent about insurance costs.
