Low fuel indicator not working?
The low fuel warning light on my 00 Accord V6 doesn't work anymore. I'm pretty sure that it doesn't but don't want to really test it out....let's just say it has ran out of gas twice before the light came on
I'm pretty sure it's the sensor that triggers the light that is malfunctioning, I find it very hard to believe that it could be just the lamp. Anyone know how difficult it would be to replace this sensor on your own, and how much it would cost. Any tips or advice appreciated!

It sounds like you need a fuel sender which it located in the gas tank mounted on the side of the fuel pump. You can access it by removing the trunk floor and there will be a silver cover that will get you to the top of the tank.
