Default Amplifier Remote Power ON / System Control

Bought a new outboard amplifier, where is the best place to connect the remote power on wire/ System Control.

splice it to the blue wire on the harness for the head unit

or anything with acc. power (12v when key is in acc or ignition position).

The blue wire on the harness says it is antenna. (at least by the Metra harness)

then it may be orange w/ a white stripe. look for which ever Metra says is "remote turn on" or "remote power" if you have two antenae leads, that blue one may in fact be the remote lead.
