Default Just changed tranmission and car wont start

Like the topic says i have changed an automatic transmission on an 88 Civic.

I unbolted everything in the manual and even the distributor. Now the car wont start. The car will crank but will not turn over (fire up)

What is the problem and how can i fix it?

I think it may be distributor/timing issues. (because i took off the dizzy)

IF the car wont turn on, how can i adjust the timing then?!
Is it a bad dizzy?

PLEASE HELP!

make sure the distributer is pluged in and make sure you have the ground on the T stat housing and tranny on.

No it is actually a small connector with 2 or 3 wires in it. Located BEHIND the head (near firewall) and is on a larger BOLTED ON water neck back there. The water neck points to the passenger side. The connector has a hole in it, and a bolt goes through it. I had a guy 35 miles away from me call and asked me to come help him get his swapped 95 Prelude started. I went, and bolted the connector back on, while he was sitting in the car, and asked him to start it for me.

The car started immedeately, and he was like "what the @!#$%@ did you do?"
I showed him, and he didn't even offer to pay me or anything.
I was irrritated as hell.
I did get a T-boned 1992 Integ from him for $300 though.
I guess that kinda balances it out.
