Default Can these Rods still be used? (HUGE PICS 56K don't even try)

Hello,

I got these Crower rods for a D16z6 for a really good price. Does anyone see a problem using them again? Considering the previous owner of them melted one of the pistons. The other three pistons don't show too much damage but there are broken pieces where the valve reliefs are. Planning on turbocharging shooting for 275-300. Any suggestions are appreciated. BTW those are SRP pistons.

hopefully that bearing spun when he put the cap back on and not while he was usin the engine. another bearing doesnt look good either. other than that looks fine.

The most melted piston came out of the #3 hole right? I bet a dollar to a donut.
I think the rods are going to be fine. Also, what caused those pistons to thermal like that? It seems a shame that SRPs got mistreated that way. I watched my buddy boy Brad melt some down on the interstate one day cause he had too much advance on his dist.
He always turns that damn thing up even though I have told him time and again, it makes the engine work harder by igniting the mixture too early in the compression stage...
He is such a DA.

Anyways, congrats on the great deal...

I would be concerned if the small end of the rod is discolored from excessive heat, if that then replace the wrist pin bushings. If it spun a bearing I wouldnt bother with them but if it didnt then got for it. You can always measure them.
