Another Problem with the R....
I dont know if this is a problem or not:
I turn on my ignition, rev a little to reverse out my garage.
All the sudden a huge amounts of BLUE smoke comes out my exhaust and smells like ****.
Anyone can think of an hypothesis?

you should give a little more info:

.... Well I have JDM Cat w/ the check engine light on (USDM ECU) would that cause it?? or maybe the oil rings are still shot??

Nope.
IIRC, you car does have 100K+ miles. It could be the rings.

Oil rings most likely..... Whatever it is, your motor is burning oil... somehting thats supposed to keep the oil out of the cumbustion chamber isnt doing its job.... Rings or valve seals.... Do a compression then a leakdown test... good luck

This is the best answer given....
Blue smoke - oil
Black smoke - Running rich
White - Coolant burning
If it was right after startup and never any other time, then it's almost for sure, your valve seals...while the engine is off, it will drip down oil into the combustion chamber...then you start it up and it burns that little bit of oil off and that's it....if it's all the time? "Now you gotta tear apart the block and replace the piston rings ya fried!!" Haha, just a little F&F humor.

Without seeing your car, I can almost guarantee you that you aren't burning coolant and it's just condensation...nothing to worry about unless your rad is losing it's juice...
If that is the case, your head gasket left for vacation and it isn't coming back...

Thanks guys... I guess I will be out of an R for awhile now... Looking to get it rebuilt!!... But any suggestions if I should get an oversized pistons or not
hey man u never replied to itr 00 0108. if your car only puffs the smoke right after start up then that means its definitely your head.ie valve seals.but if its occasionaly or all the time then its your rings. look into it man before u rip apart a perfectly good itr block. take off the head first and have it checked by a macine shop. they can do it for like 30bucks or so.
Well... this is the first time all this Blue smoke appeared out of no where. This is when is tarted my car. There are times I would see this blue smoke when I floor my car...
I'm guessing the rings also now?

Hey,
Blue smoke when you floor it (after warm up) is usually rings.
Blue smoke when you first start up in morning is generally valve seals.
Blue smoke when you let off on the gas pedal at high RPM is a sign of bad valve guides.
Before you tear anything down makes sure that your PCV system is working OK and check if your oil is diluted with raw gas. If running rich the gas has to go somewhere and that's into your oil which can make problems worse.
At 98K you probably will need to go to the first available oversize on the pistons.

Gee, you're a few days behind Art....
98k sounds a little better, even though I think it's early for a car to be burning oil...hopefully it isn't your rings.

He has been mentioning the he has been burning A LOT of oil lately.
I'm sure we have come to the right conclusion about the rings being shot.
