Default HKS Sport exhaust

I searched and searched, and there are no pics in the "official exhaust pics thread"

i was wondering if anyone has this exhaust, and if it is loud or not. Also I cant find a picture of it on a prelude anywhere, and i want to know what the tip looks like.
any help would be appreciated
thanks

I installed the HKS Sport on my Si a few months ago. Not loud at all. Nice little growl at the low end, and a deeper note than stock on the high end. No drone at highway speeds either!

Seat of the pants testing says: A little bit of a torque gain, and a tad more hp on the high end. The HKS site has a dyno test chart and video with sound of an MR2 with the exhaust (although the video seems a lot louder than the exhast actually is).

The exhaust looks a bit different from what is shown on the website there. It must be an old photo. I'll try to take a pic and post it.

It fits prefectly also.

This is what it looks like, but even this one is not quite like the one on my prelude. (from modacar.com) Where is this "official exhaust thread", if I get around to taking a picture of mine?

Hero,

The piping is 2-1/2". I got the system for $430 including shipping from rpmmotoring.com.

Here are a couple pictures I took. The shroud tip is stainless -- i forgot to clean it before taking the pics. (Still have the snow tires and steelies on!). I'll put these in the exhaust thread also.

Hey, not the greatest look, I know (the dirt does not help). But I wanted a pretty quiet system and this fit the bill. I am happy with it. Was going to get the RS-R as it's also quiet, but they only make VTEC apps.

Cotton, I did not grow up in Mankato. Just live here now (went to MSU though). Know anything about the Tein H-Tech springs (see my thread).

Wow, glad I saw this, I was probably going to buy the HKS kit. I wanted something quiet too, but I really don't like the way the muffler dips down like that, Also, I know RS-R only makes VTEC applications, but is there really that much difference between a VTEC and non-VTEC exhaust from the cat back? I like the way the RS-R ExMag looks, and I'd think there wouldn't be a huge difference between VTEC and non.
