have you heard of 81.5m p73 pistons?
i just found out after replacing the rings on my pistons that i was overbored...i always thought oem pistons only 81.25 max......and p73's can go up to 82 oem. i have geniune p73's jdm itr pistons, it's a trip. i've asked a couple people and they have heard of them, but why is it so uncommon? thanks
i could be wrong...but from what i remember OE pistons come in stock bore, .25 and .5 over bore. Check with your local honda dealer or call up A&H at http://www.AHmotor.com
i remember a post by mike k from a long time ago. i believe he posted up about there being an oem 81.50 mm usdm p73 piston
edit
this is the only post i could find from mike k about it
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=692892
but this is not the one i was thinking about...maybe it was someone else that posted about it.

these pistons in question, the 81.5mm and 82.0mm are manufactured by the same company who makes OEM honda pistons, but they are NOT available from dealerships, just race shops. you can find out who with a search, i don't know.
but these would be a real good candidate for LS/VTEC with factory reliability and more displacement. the 82.0mm would make for a small 1.9 liter, and easily 140tq on the dyno, tuned properly.

oem is only 81mm and 81.25mm
the 81.5 and 82mm itr pistons are oem copies
RS machines sell them
and 82mm would be great for anyone doing a lsvtec with stock sleeves mak ing it a 1.9
