Default Timing off? advises please

Hey my Honda Nation people,
I've run into some weird experences, my v-tec engagement now starts at 5000rpm; before it use to start at 5500rpms. Would this be time for me to get my timing adjusted? I've noticed my motor tends to rev higher then before. I remmeber seeing 4000rpms and I'm at 120km, now I have to rev 4500 to reach 120kms.
Weird eh? Advise please, N Thanks

sounds like your dizzy rpm pickup is going bad (not sure what the "offical" name is) if you have the $$$ get a new dizzy and see if it fixes your problem, it also my be that your stock tach sucks.. like all stock ones do
