Default Check out my ALignment #'s plz

Front Right:
Camber -.5
caster-.7
Toe .05

Front Left:
Camber -1.7
Caster 0.8
Toe .06

Have about a 2 inch drop, camber kit adjustable from -1 to +3. The alignment guy said those specs were the best he could do. I noticed that my car pulls a little to the right, is that because of what my Front Left camber is at??

My rear end is perfect

I take it you don't have a camber kit for your front end?
For my accord with 2 inch drop and front camber kit, these are my numbers

Front right:
Camber: -0.5
Caster: 2.9
Toe: -0.1

Front left:
Camber: -0.6
Caster: 3.0
Toe: -0.1

Front total toe: -0.2
Front steer ahead 0.0

This is from a 4-wheel alignment in which they align the fronts to the rears. All my specs for front and rear are within Honda's recommendations.
Hope this helps you.

Ok then, 2 things come to my mind right away. Either the guy doing the alignment doesn't know his *** from his elbow or you have something bent along your front end.

It is a salvage car, but i the suspension and frame look pretty clean to me.
I noticed when i put in the camber kit, that the Front right (which got alinged good) adjusted easier then the Front left (the side that didnt get aligned well) was pretty damn hard to move inward (the adjustable ball joint plate; i have upper control arm with adjustable or ball joint plate). In other words, it was very hard to adjust it towards a lower degree ie: from +3 to -1. Ball joint itself moved around EASY and the opposite side ball joint was a tuffer to move around. What could this mean? Because i have no clue

I also found out that previous owner cut the springs to get car lowered. SO, if he cut both at different lenghts, that means that Front Left could be cut shorter AND that could explain why it couldnt get aligned good (maxed out the camber kit).

What do you guys think??? Can anybody give some input on my 1st paragrapgh??? Any other ideas? People besides Hondaaccordvtec feel free to jump in, i need a 2nd opinion

And alignment guy looked like he knew what he was doing on his laser alignment.

The alignment guy should have explained any problems he may have had. If he didn't, you got ripped.

Sounds like you nailed it there with the springs. If they're cut, they need to be replaced anyway, and then you'll need another alignment. Go somewhere else this time. And don't zero out the camber! Why would anyone ever do that?! -1 degree is good and I believe it's within specs.

I highly doubt anyting is bent on your car. One thing you have to know about alignment techs is they hate doing alignments. Especially when the suspension has been modified. Alignments are time consuming, stressfull, and sometimes very hard. You would be suprised as to the number of techs that can't proberly do an alignment.

I cant beleive you car only has a slight pull to the right. You have 2.1 degress of alignment error that should cause your car to be a "lane changer." Your car will pull to the side with the most camber, and pull to the side with the least caster. In your case you have 1.2 deg. more camber on the right, and .9 deg. less caster on the right. Wow whoever you took it to was a moron!

No I highly doubt there is any damage to the vehicle. It really looks like the tech had no clue how to proberly make live camber and caster adjustments on his machine. I have seen this problem with tech in the past when they dont do another caster sweep after makeing a caster adjustment. With the adjustments you said your kit can make there should be no problem with adjusting your vehicle to specs, weather there was any damage on the car our not. Also If your SAI angle is okay there is usually no damage on the car.

If you live anywear in sothern cali. I'll refer you to a shop that WILL be able to take care of you. Id do it myself but I nolonger have the equiptment.

What type of work are you looking for? Engine work, suspension work, or body work?

I think it was not my fault for not insisting him to try again. He told me thats the best he could get it at so i just accepted it, payed the $100 and went on my merry way. DOPE!! (homer voice)

Because, before i even had a camber kit the car would just go in a straight line or maybe very slightly in one direction. After i put the camber kit on i had + on 1 side and - on another side, man this thing pulled like crazy!

Went to alignment shop and it corrected the steering a lot but still pulls to the right a bit.

Thanks for the info guys, i think im going to buy some new springs/shocks for the front so i shall go back to a BETTER alignment place.
