Default OT: Goodbye to Honda...for now

Hey there everyone. It's been awhile since I've checked in, but I wanted to take a moment to say farewell to Honda for now. I've had some great times with my hatch and my ITR when I owned them. I just sold my hatch today and I will be putting the money into my '69 Camaro SS project. I'm putting a few bucks into my WRX to AutoX in STX or SM, but I'm not going crazy with it.

I'm going for a somewhat stock look with my SS. No tubs, no pro street ****, etc. I'm going to put some modern looking wheels on it though (17x8 front/18x10 rears). The motor is the orig 396 and with a mild build up will have roughly 400-425 hp. It'll maily be a cruiser, but I might hit the drags or an AutoX for fun sometime. The car has been in my family since I was born. My dad used to drag race it and it was a 10 sec car in the mid 80's! I'm going away from that route though. Wish me luck!

I still have much love and respect for Honda and I'm sure I can see myself driving another one someday. Maybe they'll bring a new R version of the RSX or Civic.

Here are a few pics of my rides that will be missed.

You will have fun with the 69 SS. It's my favorite muscle car. I just recently restored a 70 Chevelle 454 LS5 and it's such a change from an Integra. Can we say "torque?"

Holy awesome! LS6s are king **** but LS5s have plenty of grunt. 390 hp if I'm not mistaken.

Todd, good luck with the Camaro. I've seen it and it's so cool to have something sentimental like that.

Remember stopping at that grocery store parking lot that night of Wes' party? :sm0ke:

I hate new American cars (1980+)...they're all crap!...but 60's-70's muscle cars are hot...wouldn't want one myself, but they're still sweet none-the-less
