How about the specs for the valve overlap?

You control overlap with adjustable cam gears (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

I would think you would want cams that minimize overlap, so you can use the cam gears for other things. You would have more adjustability that way.

It's for a K-series engine. I'm doing research for my k24. and I need a camshaft that would work perfect on a fully built engine for optimum power.

I wouldn't use Toda vtec killer cams for turbo apps if thats what you're asking about (they match the specs you posted). They have no primary or secondary lobes (or rather the primary/secondary lobes are larger than most vtec lobes), which means your compressed air would most likely find a quick route out the exhaust valves due to the overlap.

I just need opinions for best one for turbo, I dont need opinions on not to use them.
Rember its at a certain lift. (thanks anyway)

Thats not true. Angela Proudfoot uses VTEC killers on her car and shes running 8 second with turbo, and crane camshaft

Toda measures duration at zero lift btw. Most people that are building engines like Angela Proudfoot's aren't coming on here asking about using vtec killers on turbo'd engines, hence my recommendation not to use them. I didn't know you were building this type of motor. Could you give us a general plan/goal for the engine? For any other use I would like to see how you can build boost with a cam like this. And I would be curious as to what type of duration those crane cams are too.

typically for a boosted app the cam you really want to worry about is the exhaust cam,

in my experience the ones which work better tend to be high lift low duration on the exhaust side, on the intake side you can run whichever suits you

imho

from your chioces i would pick #1 ex for the ex and #3 in for the intake

Why don't you just run the crane setup? They have a special roller cam for turbo.

Dont the K series motor automatically adjust the intake cam degrees.. I know the K20 civic si motor does but I dont know it all K's do it..

Never mind I changed my mind about this, I'm going to incorporate VTEC.

Go with a lot of lift and find out the cam's valve overlap, once you know that try to get the lobe centers to around 112* via adjustable cam gears.

Its a good thing. Ill get a less agressive cam and have VTEC kick in at 3500.

He means the overlap is a bad thing.. Some of the boost charge will come in the intake valve and go right out the exhaust valve until the exhaust valve closes..

Its a good thing. That how ALS works. Inertia will pull air in.

I can see that but does it still have a positive effect on a turbo car.. Sure its pulling air in but the turbo will force the air in by itself, Wouldnt that create something like a boost leak then?
