i have strange alignment numbers after my rear disc conversion / SPC lower control arm install
let me first say the lower arms are shorter than oem arms, which greatly affected my camber.
before the instal itwas about -2.8 both sides (forget exact #'s)
now after alignment here are my numbers
Front LEFT
CAMBER -1.2
CASTER +1.2
TOE +0.04
Front RIGHT
CAMBER -1.2
CASTER +1.7
TOE +0.04
Rear LEFT
CAMBER +1.2
TOE +0.02
Rear RIGHT
CAMBER +0.2
TOE -0.07
I'm really worried about my rear numbers, especially the toe and the fact that two camber numbers are not even close!!!
i have grond control coilovers, so i might try to adjust the height to help with the camber a bit
your thoughts please!!
oh yeah pics of the new arms will be posted later

Damn, it made your camber positive, that really sucks. How much did you drop the car? Are you sure you got the right application control arms? Shorter arms really sucks cuz you are reducing the track width of your car. A better way to adjust camber is by getting a kit that is at the upper control arm, not the lower. It looks like you barely dropped the car over an inch at the front. Try at least 1.5 inch drop front and rear.
why dont you just adj. your rear toe?. also to solve the positive camber just drop that hoe more!

how can you tell? i used to have SI rear disc brakes on my 98 hatch and they gave me positive camber (i've taken them off). when i looked at them, though, they didn't appear to have any damage. since them, i have purchased a front and rear camber kit but im not sure whether i should put the rear discs back on.

If your toe is maxed out then you will need something like the Suspension Techniques pro-align toe kit. Mine is out by one degree and I need the kit myself, but I haven't found anyone who distributes them except maybe ST themselves. I have a LS rear brake conversion and I'm not sure why the rear toe is off.
i used stock si rear trailing arms the first time i went rear disk, i had + camber in the back really bad, so i used the drum trailing arms and everything was a-ok. it had to be the trailing arms
yeah, cuz check this out.
With the trailing arms that came with the rear disks, i had 1.3 and 2.1 camber.
with the drum trailing arms on the rear disk spindle, i had -.7 and -1 camber.

The SPC kit does come with the upper control arm camber adjustment (EZ arm). I think I'm going to take off my SPC rear lower control arms and replace them with some ITRs. It does drive a little sloppy ever since I installed the rear lower control arms; they are a .5" shorter then a regular OEM control arm.
Can this .5" shorter really effect the driving conditions of my car or is it just in my head?
