Give me advice on this set-up
okay this is going into my EG HB CX.
JDM B20B with LS intake stock bottom end.
LS ECU
T04B turbo
Intercooler
Greddy or HKS BOV
FMU change to 8:1
Walbro Fuel Pump 255
Prelude Injectors 330cc from what I have heard, better then the RC 310.
3 inch exhaust with Apexi N1 drum
I will be driving this everywhere as an daily driver. The boost is set to 8psi ( is that safe?)
What should I expect as results of performance?
anyone running this set-up?
TIA

if you plan to keep the block as is (nonvtec head), you should pay more attention to the specs on the turbo since your redline is would relatively be low.
something like with an exhaust trim of .48 would be the sweet spot, quick spooling with lots of low end torque

from what i've heard, the connecting rods on a B20B are weaker and skinnier than those on a B16A, which could prove diasterous in a boosted situation.. i'd get your pistons and connecting rods changed, and a blockguard for some added safety
if you don't push your engine over its redline, then I don't see a need in changing the valve springs

nathan thanks for the advice, I am working with a low budget, I would like to in the future.
But for the stock bottom is 8psi ok?
Thanks

thanks for your reply, I am just going to leave it a non-vtec engine, What do you think about the LS engines are they better for turbo?
