best bushes for crx
There are several schools of thought on this. We used ES for the rear trailing arms and LCAs. Those along with ES Sway Bar bushings and end links at both ends work very well together. If you are lowering the car consider either the SPC or Ingalls rear upper adjustable arms (not allowed for SCCA Improved Touring) with poly.
The difference as best I understand it between ES and Prothane is a slight difference in the Durometer (hardness) of the poly and the way you install them. Prothane includes the sleeves for several locations while ES requires you remove only the rubber and save the pins for the TA donut bushings. Check both online to see what they offer.
It is my opinion that you do not need the full "Master Kit" from either and that using rubber bushings up front is sensible-mainly if the car will be street driven. Another thing-poly WILL squeak and it can be bothersome. Some racers are using the Mugen bushings sold by OPM in the TAs and those work very well compared to stock. DO NOT replace the shock bushings with poly unless you are building an all-out track car.
Good luck
