What could be wrong? (1991 Si)
Driving around in my buddies aunt's 1991 Si earlier tonight. Shifted from 2nd to 3rd...and immediatley starting bogging out...short and quick pulses...i put clutch in... it stopped, and tried 3rd again, with teh same result. put clutch in again, and the engine died out. Hasn't started yet.
I checked....
1) spark (yes)
2) Battery (good)
3) oil (plenty)
4) gas (half tank)
5) valves (clickin)
Could it be that the gas is too old...the car isn't driven regularly. Thinking maybe there is no fuel getting to the cylinders, so am thinking about replacing fuel pump...anyone have any ideas/experiences or comments on this situation?
thanks in advance

UPDATE:
When i turned the car to acc, i hear the fuel pump priming... so I kinda eliminated that for a while
I checked the distributor (took cap off) and lots of **** fell out. I thought it was just the housing, but in actuality, it was the screw that held the rotor to the cam to rotate the rotor with the camshaft. So, that thing was spinning freely, and not producing a spark, which is wierd cause I tested for spark, and it tested positive.
So, for now, i put a screw in there that I found around the garage, and it works well now, just gotta tell me buddy to get a new rotr and cap ASAP.
Thanks for all the help, car runs, and is outta my cot damn driveway!
