ok, i feel like **** at the moment , i washed my car today , and **** , i found that my carbon fiber lip has a crack on the bottom side left

Only thing I can think of is buying that fake CF wallpaper sticker/sheet kind of thing and put it over the crack. It comes in big rolls like wallpaper does.

Is it a real Spoon CF lip deal or some knockoff? If it's a knockoff, you should be happy. This gives you more freedom to go at those driveways/speedbumps at full attack. I'd run the lip into the ground, or until it totally breaks off the car. No need for tears unless it's a real expensive lip.

its VIS lip , but i dont live in the states , the total price inc shipping , i could have bought a genuine spoon lip .... shipping was a bitch

I had a VIS lip that I scratched/cracked up too. It's not a big deal. It's not worth it to fix it correctly, like relaying the CF. The VIS lip isn't full CF anyways, it's like a layer of CF and fiberglass backing.

If you wanted it to look visually pleasing, then I say just go find some of that CF wrapping/wallpaper type stuff.

 

I have a spoon Cf lip I went up a driveway that cracked the body shop fixed it only prob is it will leave a white mark because they have to fill it with an epoxy resin but it was fixable any body shop that is good with fiberglass will know what to do

 

you can fix the crack from the back side, and have it be just as strong. but the "fixed" crack will still show on the front. might be able to wet sand the clear gel coat on the front and reclear the whole thing.

if the cf itself did not crack, you can sand the resin and redo the resin. if the cf fiber did crack, your kinda out of luck. you can redo teh resin to hold it together, but the cf will still be cracked.

how much did it cost you ???

 

i havent had to do it, but i have worked in cf, fiberglass, lexan, sheet metal, ect. so i know how to do it.
