Default prelude enigine with a accord tranny

i got a 01 lx accord. i was wondering if i could get a prelude engine and i could still use the accord tranny?..what prelude engine would work best?..because i can get almost any engine for $400 without tranny......would this be a good transplant?....what kind of problems would i might face? ?

Prelude transplant: H22

yes, it'll fit in your car and w/ your tranny

However, the gears will be quite tall for the H22, but you'll be able to take your RPMs to higher speeds...

Go to the Hybrid forum and do some research on doing motor swaps... it can be done, but it'll require a good deal of expertise and labor... (wiring, etc).

Hey, where are you finding these motors for 400 bucks! I tried to find a Prelude motor for my 98 Accord and they wanted 5K for it! Plus they told me the Accord Tranny wouldn't work! Fill me in!

Do those blocks come with or without vins?
Yeah, really. $400? Too good to be true. Don't buy boosted/lifted/hot products, you're just supporting the industry of stealing.
