Default Results of First Dyno Trip

Well, today I took a trip out with the people of SeattleRSX.com and got my first dyno run in. With just a CAI I managed to put down 182.7whp and 129.3ft/lbs. Sorry I don't have a scanner or else I'd post it. Is this similar to other dynos with just that mod? There were a few others there that dynoed with Hondata, I/E, not sure if they had a header, but between the 2-3 of them with similar setups they ran 184-186, which made me extremely surprised when I ran 182. Shouldn't the reflash have helped bump up those numbers a bit more?

Well all dyno's are not equal for one thing. Just because u put down 182 on the dynojet there, a dynojet down the street could read different. The dyno is to be used as a tool for tuning moreso than number comparison. Its a good way to get a idea of power, but u can't pick apart numbers on a small scale (10hp).

Now if the two cars ran at the same dyno right after each other then u got something to compare.

We all ran one right after the other, each getting in 3-4 runs. Maybe 7-8 cars dynoed over the course of about 3 hours.
