AC Auto technic Short Shifter (real short shift lever)...

It is for an AC Autotechnics Short Shiter. They have prelude 92-97 listed as an application and when i emailed the seller he says the prelude is a true shifter and not just an adapter.
What do you guys think?

doesnt short shifters **** up ur tranny or syncros or something over time? you dont need a short shifter, just shift faster
