How many wires does your y8 dizzy have? GO outside and count them. This dizzy I have in my hand has 8 freaknig wires. SOMEONE TELL ME QUICK>!!!

 

theres only 7 wires 5 and 2

i got one off of ebay, supposedly a 96 y8 distributor and it has 8. the one on my car has a different style plug than the one i got off ebay, and i have a 97 y8. i dunno how many wires on that one, too dark to go look.

 

We need to find out how to use this d16y8 Dizzy ( It's a y8 off a 99/00 ) on my obd1 Harness!

It only has one ignition wire running while the obd1 dizzy has 2!!!

Come on guys. This is my last day. I really need to find out how to repin the dizzy to work with an obd1 car.

this stupid Dizzy has 8 wires, and our obd1's retain 9.

The extra wire is an igintion wire.. so what do we do about it? Someone has to know.

anyways.. distrubtor king owns.. i got one for my ek.. nice ignitor, jdm ball bearings(LOL)

just go buy the right dizzy.. don't half ***. if you wanna ghetto.. take the 2 ignition wires and see what kinda current is commin out, play around.. wire the 2 to 1, solder, play around can't do any damage.. umm actualy.. go buy the right ******* dizzy.. lol

Im so tempted to call you both idiots. There IS no right dizzy that's obd1 and obd2 compatible. So quit telling me to buy the RIGHT distributor omfg. That's stupid.

All I want is a diagram that says how to use the 8 wire dizzy on an obd1 vehicle. THAT'S ALL I NEED!!!
