Default crx slicks too big?

Hey guys I have a set of slicks, still without tires and was wondering what size tires (wide) would i need and the offset for the rims, any spacers. I have a 91 crx si, with kyb agx's and h&r race springs, the slicks are mt race slicks and are 24.5x9.0-13, any suggestions, thanks soo much.

the 24.5 x8 x13 is recommened on a 8" wide rim.
as far as slick size choice. it all depends on how much HP you are pushing out.

Whats your setup and hp output?

well i have a brand new built stock d16a6 with a z6 head and y8 intake and b16 throttle body. I am also boosting probably to about 15-18psi this year with a garrett t3 turbo intercooled, expecting and wanting to push around the margin of 175-200whp. I am just worried that i wont be able to spin those suckers to warm them up, the thing is i got them with a deal i made and decided to just use them if they wouldnt be hitting the wheelwell and innerfenders.

the 24's willbe too much for the hp you have. its best to stick to a size like a 22x8x13. thats the perfect size for your setup.

you'll have a harder time to push the 24's and it wont give you the best results.

wait a minute.. build d16 mini-me running 15psi and you are only expecting 175-200whp?

on 15psi you could hit 250 easily

Beerbongskickass from HMT made 216hp on a stock d16z6 @ 10psi

could be using a real small turbo but on high boost.

yeah i am honestly not really knowing what i will be pushing this year, i dotn want to expect alot of hp's because if i dont reach it i will be upset, i expect lower and when i hit my goal and kep on going all the better. But until i find a set of 22x8-13's then i guess i will just use these for now, but damn their big slicks. does anyone know the offset i would need though? thanks ... chris

Chris, its not even a matter of Using it now cause thats all you have. its more of, Don't use it because your car will have a harder time pushing them and you wont get the best results with them. if you try to hook up with those slicks, its even possible you'll break axles, trans, etc since its too big for what you have.
I know you want to use slicks but the size is totally not right and i highly suggest not using them.
