Weight of rear interior
Does anyone know how much the REAR interior weights in a 1991 CRX SI? Also is anyone know how much the stock sound damping material weights? No need to know stock front seats cause thos have been replaced. Thanks
The sound deating under the spare tire there is heavy, mine was saturated and probably weighted a good 15-20 lbs. I also gutted out the other sound deating.
Rear interior... Probaly 20lbs.

So the rear interior is the rear plastics( sides, top bottem, seat thing, and rear tail light cover plastic?)

unless you are making a 10 second or faster car dont strip it.
Replace seats with light weight seats
Remove sound deadning
Remove AC and heat
It will still look nice and you will have lost all the noticable inside weight.
Their are alot of other ways to drop weight besides stripping the inside.
