Hey do you think this clutch was SLIPPING when I went to the track? Pics inside!
Well when I went to the track I felt my clutch was slippjng, unsure if it was the slicks just breaking loose up top even in 4th which on some runs THEY WERE!!!! I watched my 1/4 miles vids over and over and could tell the clutch was slipping up top. Well here are a few pics I snapped today.

Nice glazing... damn. time for a resurface or replacement.
EDIT: Nevermind, just looked at the power you are putting down. Time for a twin disk tilton and a new flywheel.

It was a Clucth Specialties Dual Diaphragm Pressure plate (They sometimes come black sometimes yellow lol) Also a Clucth Specialties six puck sprung hub, the Flywheel is a JUN 10.14lb chromoly flywheel, I have had it for like 4 years now, served me well BUT everytime we pull it apart it looks like this. I WONDER if the friction materials are not working well from the flywheel to the disc. I dunno. I got my Competition Clutch twin disc clutch instalked now. Hopefuly no more slippage.
Tracks vids here a couple of runs yuou can tell it is slipping

hows your suspension set-up. I would guess that you will be able to do much better times with the new clutch and if you have a nicely set up suspension. best of luck to you, and try to get a harness on all those ponies.
bet in two weeks he'll be back in here showing us his broken axles

oh my.
did you have it resurfaced when you pulled it out those times (and this one) or just leave it like that?
that's some pretty narly glazing on that thing haha. might be time to go to clutch packs
what rpm are you launching at cause you might have to back down off of it and/or swap to a 4puck unsprung.
one of the things i like about my clutchmaster's flywheel is that the friction plate is replaceable
