JDM SPEC b16a2 Map sensor where is it? does it have one i can't find it.

 

Its on top of the throttle body

how is an A2 a jdm motor or spec? it USDM if ther eis a # after the letter..anyway..if you want to know where the map sensor on it, then it a black square piece on top of the throttle body..that has a 3 wires plug going into it.

 

to help you out, if im right. if your are looking at the side of the engine from the pass side you look at the top right hand side of the throttle bobe and there prolly is a VACUUM PORT looking thing. that my friend is your map sensor. you will maybe get another map sensor from some where and run a vauum line from that port to the new map sensor input. ( you maight be able to find one on a 92-95 dx, they have an external map on them, that way its doesnt look nappy).

good luck. it happens every day that someone changes out the throttle bodies, and people just being ******** and think they know it all, insted of helping

if its not the the throttle body then you need to get a firewall mounted map sensor like some of the 92-95 civics and run a vaccum line to the throttle body and plug the sesnsor in

 

When I got my front clip with the JDM b16 the map sensor was on the firewall also if that helps.

 

Just like the last of the guys are saying you have to get a map and mount it to the fire wall run a tube to the tb and youll be good

They dont have maps on the jdm b16s
