Default Type S pistons

Where I can find the best deal on Type S pistons? Some people has good price on the rings but way too expensive on the pistons and vice versa. The best deal that I found was $210 on Import Store.

Technically you're supposed to, but I would say it's not necessary.

It is honed very finely, and I've heard of many cars running fine w/ no hone; I did not hone for my rebuild.

Yes, I used new rings. If I had had the hone and stones sitting around, I would have done it. But I wasn't going to haul my block to a shop that has never honed FRM sleeves beofre, and pay $50+ just to have it honed. And nowhere local sells hones.

I didnt hone mine either, but my block only had 20k on it. If you have more than 50k I would say hone it for sure. And you will need new rings. Just get them with the pistons

It is to get it done right . . . . .

No way to know if you'll need it until you pull the head & inspect the cylinder walls. Plan on it just in case.

What's the site for that? That's an extremely good price.

Looks like they have the rings listed, but it's another $160. So $370 + shipping from import-store, not that great a price.
