hey im building a quick motor because i really dont have time to save and go crazy with sleaving, billet rods, forged pistons and crazy headwork. so im doing a simple b16 with usdm itr pistons, doin basic p+p, toda valve springs, guides + seals and prolly ferrea valves. i have an itr intake mani for it with a bored out gsr tb but i think im gonna goto homemade itb's. custom turbo kit with a big 16g turbo and tyrus intercooler. most of the parts will be custom since i can do that. what will break first on this motor if it is tuned well? im planning on boosting around 20psi just to see what happens. if i still cant beat my friend im gonna resort to nitrous. how high can a big 16g boost before it overspools and blows? has any1 stretched or snapped a stock rod doing anything other than hydrolocking it? whats the most hp you've seen on stock rods? thanks morgan
