i am going to try and port and polish my head and i was wondering if any one could give me some tips. what tool do you use to polish i'v been told you use a burr to grind out the ports. i mainly plan to gasket match the mani and exhaust manimaybe hog it out a lil if it seems i can?

 

if you start grinding on the head ports without using a flowbench to verify that what you are doing is actually helping, you are probably going to end up with a head that doesn't work as well as it did stock - porting a head is better left to the professionals that know what they are doing

 

port and polish is an art.....one way u may gain horse power, another u may loose
