Default Can I use OEM Pistons with Forged Rods???

I am about to purchase a set of used (1700 miles) EAGLE Rods, and I was wondering if I can mount OEM JDM ITR or CTR Pistons onto the Forged Rods... Not sure if that combination works properly

OR

Do I have to purchase Forged Pistons as well????

Let me know please as I may be buying these tomorrow....

I don't believe you can...somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Don't think Eagles are designed to work with anything but floating pin.

Just out of curiosity...why?

why do you want to use OEM pistons on Eagle rods?

If you're getting a hella deal on the rods, i say just save up some more cash and get forged pistons.
