hey guys, i just got my car back from getting my h22 swap...everythign is fine except for the fact my new h22 header/downpipe doesnt mate up with my old h23 cat...my question is...will a h23 downpipe bolt up to the h22 header that way i can bolt it up to the cat and quiet this **** down, cuz one of my friends has one that i can have...please help me out asap...running an open header is making my ears hurt! haha thanks in advanced

 

I'd run a test pipe...if that's an option...get it made to fit

 

do you have to drill a hole in the h22 downpipe where it connects to the cat so, then all 3 bolts should match up.

 

yeah thats what i thought but evidently it isnt...satan, running a test pipe isnt an option, so would bolting the 23 dp to the 22 header work to fix this problem?

 

no it doesnt match up just drill a hole in the h22 DP

 

the shop i took it to said that wont work...it looks like it would
