4 psi without any fuel management?
Alright...this question probably sounds dumb at first...but i wouldnt ever run 4 psi without any fuel management or even be asking this question if I wouldnt have read something in a honda tuning magazine a while back. It was in an issue where Greg Leone (tech editor of honda tuning mag.) was doing a junkyard set-up on his crx. ( I will also be doing a junkyard set up with a KKK K26 on a d16z6). And while he was doing this, he wrote and I quote "if you run more than 4 psi of boost, than you will need a boost dependent fuel pressure regulator." So does that mean that I can run 4 psi without any fuel management? I will be doing the missing link also. To keep the ecu from seeing boost.
Thanks in advance.

To answer your question....NO
As you are probably aware, more air + more fuel = more power
More air + no more fuel = no more power and by by engine (could result).
Without seeing the article, i have no idea what they are speaking of.

You said it's a junkyard setup. He may have just raised his fuel pressure and run very rich out of boost. Get what I'm saying?
Just a thought. He doesn't say he's not compensating, so there's porbably some factor that's not mentioned.

The low level HKS kit is like that...no fuel solution...just a turbo mani, a very small turbo, intake pipe and a downpipe.
HKS claims its good for 0.2BAR and about 200~220whp on an ITR.

the guy did install an FMU, but he ran 6- 7 psi. But before installing it he said. If you are gonna run more than 4 psi than you would need one. So to me that kinda sounded like it would be ok if you ran 4 psi without an FMU or anything. But thats why i asked you guys. LOL
