my question is how hard will it be to replace with the motor in....what all will i have to remove, just t-belt covers?

 

All you have to do is use a jack to support the engine from the bottom. Then just swap them out. It should be pretty easy.

 

all belts, a/c, ps, and alt, then t cover (both ) i belive, because u can't get the socket behind the lower cover to loosen the bottom bolt *there is three*. So to remove the lower, you have to remove the pulley . But you can do it in the car with minor difficulities.

do the bolts have to be torqued for the mount?.....what about the crank pully?...will i have to reset thr timing?

 

the crank pulley does...130 ft lbs, and the bolts for the mount, just get em tight and you won't have a problem. But, yes, they should be properly torqued.

 

how about the timing...ive never messed with the timing before but i do have a timing gun

and will i be able to break the bolt loose with a 150 psi compressor?

Sometimes it will break loose, sometimes its in there like its welded....hopefully you get the 1st option.
If not what i do is jam something in the flywheel and break the bolt loose with a big *** breaker bar.

 

Yea 150psi should break it free. Are you useing an impact gun? If your in doubt just spray the bolts with penitrateing oil and let it sit for a few minutes. No you dont need a timeing light. If you decide to remove you timeing belt just mark the sprokets with something like white-out. That way if they move you can put them right back where they were.

Crank pulley only goes on one way. Be sure you don't lose the woodruff key! You'll see what I'm talking about when you get the pulley off. You don't have to take the timing belt off so you don't need to worry about that.

oh ok it will only go on on one spot?...is a woodruff ket like a little square on the end of the crank to hold the pully on?

 

It's a small piece of metal that has a spot the it fits in on the crank and the crank pulley, just like on a camshaft to keep the cam gear in place.

 

so when i pull of the pully will it be sitting on the crank....or it it just gonna fall off?

 

It's just a small metal piece, it's either gonna stay on the pulley, the crank, or fall to the floor.

 

do you have to have the crank pully tool to take the pully off?

 

is the crank pulley and the alternator pulley and the ac pulley all one piece.... or is it 3 separate pulleys?

I advice you to get helms too.
