Default i need to replace a wheel stud

anyone done it before? or put on extended studs? mine got ripped off, and i need to replace it before i hit the drags manana. how long do you think it might take?

hammer the stud out the back of the hub (assuming that the hub is off of the car) get a dremel, and cut part of the back off of the new stud. hammer it in with a bolt or long chissel. cut the top off of a lug nut, (orjust get some open end lugnuts) and tighten it VERY SLOWLY until the back of the lug is flush with the hub assembly.

actually...thanx for the help guys, but as soon as i started, i was able to get the new one in within about 10 min.

I was gonna say man, if you cant atleast change it out and have the wheels on in 15 min. then you need to stay away from cars.

it shouldnt take more than about 20 minutes, unless u are having some trouble ...
