Getting closer to the 13's (New best time)
Managed to hit a 14.254 on saturday at the Import Wars. Mods are I/H/E (AEM,Spoon,ApexN1) with advanced timing to 18 degrees (was at 14 stock), removed backseat. Tires were Re010's at 21PSI. The breakdown of the run is below:
R/T: .537
60': 2.263
330: 6.114
1/8: 9.257
MPH: 78.23
1000: 11.957
1/4: 14.254
MPH: 97.74
My first run was a 14.41. Overall I was very happy with the results. As it turned out I was teh fastest ITR for the day. The next closest was another ITR at 14.41X. There were at least 4 other R's racing including a JDM front with Mugen exhaust, ApexN1 exhaust, intake, and a few other goodies.
Unfortunately I lost on my best race to a turbo GSR running 14.090, but thanks to my R/T he only beat me by .021

nice run, i'm looking for 13's too, but after i had my bent valves replaced by the dealer the car only goes 14.4's.........so i guess i really fucked my motor up...oh well, good luck w/ the 13s

I launched at 4.5K and just dropped the clutch. I used to slip the clutch a little, but found I get better results by just letting it go.
I noticed when rereading my post that I omitted that I have ES Motor Mount Inserts and Mugne Mounts. Personally, I do not notice any difference both they way they look and feel compared to the stock mounts. They really don't effect the 1/4 time, but they make it more comfortable when launching from 4k+ rpm.

with replaced valves, shouldn't your car be running as good as new?

thats what i thought, once the motor is apart, it is never the same again...****** piece of **** dealer, oh well, we'll see what happens over the winter & hopefully some 13's in the spring.
