im bored and was just thinking if its possible to keep up with the big boys (supra, rx7s,etc) at 160-170+mph?

lets say i have a turbo gsr or itr with every possible mod to keep it running smoothly, but street legal. all interior is still intact. i understand that the LS gears are longer so i swap that in. now to make my gearing even longer i add sum light weight 18in rims(volks te37). now with that would i be able to hang with them on hwys? remember im not looking 4 a quick off the line type of car but top speed. so what is everybody's opinion.......possible or not? if not, what kinda numbers do u think it can push?

o yeah dont go flamin me how stupid it would be traveling at that speed, im just wondering if a 4banger is capable of such speeds..

 

integra's are drag limited to 163mph (or atleast thats what i here), im sure its possible if you are the ***** and cash

 

totally build your bottom end, and get hondata and boost the sh*t out of yah car then your runnin with anyone almost.

 

You planning on going 170mph on Virginia Highways? I'm glad I live in TX. I'd hate to see you comming up behind me at night trying to prove to a TT Supra that your FWD has "*****".

I wonder what a deer would do to your car at that speed. . . . .
