What the is 2 stepping?
"Two stepping" is pretty much a ricers way of thinking that their car is hot ****. What it is meant for is to keep your launches consistent. Anti-lag, which is similar, is a feature your tuner programs so that you can build boost from a dead stop in order to have full power when you launch. It should only be used at the track when necessary. Not something you should do at every stop light.

LOL..
2steps arent really necessary for NA setup's(unless you are able to change the 2step), but anti-lag for boosted setups are a great way to get off the line FAST. Imagine lining up at the light with the 2step set to 4,500RPMs and "bogging" like crazy. What to do then if you arent able to change it to a higher rpm?
