Default fixing/hiding cracked windshield, so i can bring my car to the track

i really want to go to the track this weekend and run my car,but i have a 8 inch crack on the driver side of the windshield....i have to get trailored down there and i dont want to get turned down at tech for it...

does anybody know any ghetto ways of fixing or hiding the crack...its really gonna kill me to spend 150 bucks for a new one when i dont even drive this car on the street....

8 inches? damn, you waited too long. not much you can do but use some vinyl possibly.

damn thats a pretty good idea....its gonna hurt a lil bit to rice out my car with a lightning bolt sticker but that might just work...thanks guys

Get a glass chisel and make it symmetrical with the other side of the window and add some more lines, Just tell them its tribal or sumthing! haha

bah... i put a sticker over the bad part and said screw it and went...the tech guy saw it ,pushed on it and said "get that fixed b4 next time"...he was a COOL guy in my book

I'd get it fixed for sure anyway. Not only is it safer in a crash to have a good one, but the windshields in unibody cars are structural, so it will actually stiffen the chassis.
