hey
i've done a search and i cant find any info on different exhausts on b18c5s in EKs. my swap (98 spec jdm type r motor) is goin down mid march and i need to pick an exhaust. i'm thinking of going with the Apex GT Spec exhaust since its 2.5" are there any other exhausts i should consider using? thanks

go to a mufflar shop and tell them you want a 2.5" exhaust from the cat back... it'll cost you like 130 if you bring your own muffler.
piece together a mandrel bent stainless system with a high flow cat a large resonator and a magnaflow exhaust... will probably end up being less if you do some of your own work... and just as good if not better perfomance for less $
If you don't already have one do this... Get a '98+ JDM ITR header, run a piece of 2.5" pipe ~4ft. long straight back and leave it, hehe (I'm actually serious tho, I really dislike exhausts)... Since I really haven't been that much of a help really just look for one thing, as you and everyone already stated just make sure it's atleast 2.5"... Mandrel is nice too if you don't mind spending a little extra money... Just my $0.02, Good Luck

If your planning on going with Buddy Club, you better get earplugs and the police department in your area better be cool as hell. Here's a little quote from
Smitdog: BC SpecIII makes spoon n1 sound like apexi WS. no Lie.
If you haven't heard a spoon n1, it's pretty damn loud and the world sport is pretty damn quiet. Once again you can't go wrong with an N1, preferably spoon or apex.
